Laurel Leavitt and I met at Burning Man a couple of years ago and had a lot of fun working on an installation together. Since then we’ve been involved, on and off, in each other’s various projects. Here Laurel floats in the London Aquatics Centre for VB29 - Natatorium. In the water beyond Laurel are Pixel, myself, Trilby, Calliope, and Moni.

I hate to even mention this since I imagine she’ll deny it and cuss me out, but to my surprise, I actually heard SaveMe Oh ask if “anyone would mind” before she started her now legendary video show. These “Escher Fish” were her opening opus, which were followed by a more restrained, durational drone by Pixel, as described in this blog earlier, and eventually climaxing in the enormous crescendo of SaveMe’s two-story-tall “duck” finale.
